On the afternoon of January 28, The Phan Chau Trinh Medical University - Hospital (PCTU) continued to welcome 9 students and 2 professors specializing in Rehabilitation from Inje University (Korea) to participate in the course “Clinical Observation and Professional Exchange in the Field of Rehabilitation.”

The program offers international students the opportunity to access real clinical settings in Vietnam, broaden their professional perspectives, and directly exchange practical experiences in the field of rehabilitation—a discipline that is playing an increasingly vital role in modern healthcare.
Following hospital visits and an introduction to the organizational structure of the healthcare system, the delegation began the core learning activities with clinical observation sessions at the Department of Rehabilitation. Here, students observed characteristic cases such as post-stroke patients with hemiplegic movement disorders, patients suffering from long-term neck and shoulder pain leading to degeneration, common orthopedic and sports injuries, and more. Through these experiences, students gained a deeper understanding of the role of rehabilitation across acute, post-acute, and chronic stages of care, as well as the continuity required in patient care and recovery.
Alongside hands-on observation, structured case discussions enabled learners to compare professional practices between Vietnam and Korea, gradually developing foundational clinical reasoning and enhancing analytical skills and a comprehensive approach in the field of rehabilitation.

Previously, on January 5, PCTU welcomed 50 Physical Therapy students from Chunnam Techno University (Korea) to participate in a cadaver-based anatomy course.
Thus, within the first month of 2026 alone, PCTU has consecutively hosted two delegations of students from Korean universities. This continues to affirm PCTU’s international practice-oriented training environment as a trusted destination for universities across the region.
