Adding an international touch to the start of the New Academic Year at PCTU

Amid the excitement of the new academic year, PCTU continues to welcome 34 second- and third-year students from the Department of Physical Therapy, Busan Health University (South Korea), to participate in the Cadaveric Anatomy Practice Program.
 

During the program, students directly observe and identify anatomical structures on cadavers and relate them to the knowledge they have learned under the guidance of PCTU doctors and faculty members. For Physical Therapy students, a thorough understanding of the muscular, skeletal, joint, and nervous systems, as well as the relationships between these structures, provides an important foundation for applying knowledge to their studies and professional practice.

The classroom atmosphere also became more engaging as students actively exchanged ideas, asked questions, and compared their observations with the knowledge presented in their textbooks. Yu Yeseung, one of the participating students, shared that this hands-on experience helped her visualize anatomical structures more clearly, allowing her to gain a deeper understanding and remember the material more easily.

Equally enthusiastic, student Park Hyeonsang was particularly impressed by the organization of the practical session and the learning environment at PCTU. For him, the trip not only provided additional professional knowledge but also offered an opportunity to experience a new learning environment and create memorable moments in Vietnam.

This is the fourth group of Korean students to visit PCTU for academic activities in 2026, bringing the total number of Korean students participating in training, study, and experiential programs at the university to more than 100. This figure also reflects the growing scale and expanding range of academic fields in PCTU's international cooperation and academic exchange activities.
