For health sciences students, hospitals are not just training grounds but also their "second school," where theoretical knowledge is clarified, clinical skills are honed, and real-world patient interactions bring invaluable lessons that no textbook can replace.
PCTU takes pride in being a specialized medical university, with well-planned infrastructure and resources that meet the standards of a modern medical school. Most notably, its comprehensive and readily available network of teaching hospitals creates the ideal environment for students to realize their dream of wearing the white coat.

PCTU boasts a network of nine Tam Tri General Hospitals, spanning from Da Nang, Quang Nam, Nha Trang, and Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Thap. Particularly noteworthy is the 300-bed hospital located on campus, equipped with advanced facilities, including operating rooms, state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging systems (Ultrasound, X-Ray, CT-Scanner, MRI), and AI-integrated diagnostic tools that deliver high accuracy, enhance treatment outcomes, and optimize patient costs. These facilities also provide students access to future technologies during their studies.
With a total capacity of over 1,500 beds and hosting 1 million patient visits annually, PCTU students gain exposure to a wide range of cases, from simple to complex, without worrying about finding suitable training environments—an advantage few medical schools in Vietnam can match.
Beyond training in a single environment, students embark on an “inter-provincial journey,” practicing at hospitals across the network, from central to southern Vietnam. This unique experience allows students to:
Accommodation during internships is no longer a concern, as students receive support from alumni and the Student Affairs Department, allowing them to focus on learning and practice without worrying about housing.
While inter-provincial travel may incur some costs, the benefits—gaining knowledge and invaluable experience—far outweigh the expenses.
In addition to the university's affiliated hospitals, students have the opportunity to intern at leading specialty hospitals, such as:
This ensures students master foundational knowledge while developing advanced research skills to deliver optimal care and treatment for the community
