Reading Space at the Library – A Familiar Study Hub for Students

The reading space at Bui Duy Tam Medical Library is designed following a modern library model, placing learners’ concentration and study efficiency at the center. 

The reading and study areas are arranged in a spacious and well-ventilated layout, suitable for individual study, group discussions, meeting deadlines, or in-depth research. Natural light combined with a standard lighting system helps protect eyesight and provides a comfortable environment for extended study sessions.

The quiet space, with good sound insulation and minimal noise, creates a highly focused learning environment — a particularly important factor for health sciences students when reading specialized materials, studying clinical cases, or preparing for practical examinations.

At Phan Chau Trinh University, all learning resources have been fully digitized in an integrated system. In addition, the library is developing AI-powered support tools that enable students and lecturers to search, access, and use materials quickly, accurately, and efficiently across multiple platforms and devices.

More than just a place to read, this space also helps reduce academic stress, foster self-study habits, develop research thinking, and strengthen the perseverance required in medical education. Over time, it has become a familiar “study hub”, closely associated with the academic growth of students at Phan Chau Trinh University.
