Dental practice is an essential part of the training program for Dentistry and Dental Nursing students at Phan Chau Trinh University (PCTU). The university has invested in modern practice rooms to meet all the learning and training needs of students, from basic to advanced skills.
Phantom Lab is where students practice clinical skills with 1:1 scaled models that closely resemble real-life situations. This system also integrates technology that broadcasts images from the instructor’s desk to each student’s practice station, allowing them to observe, learn, and perform procedures accurately. This is an important starting point in building a solid foundation for advanced dental techniques.
The on-campus Dental Clinic and the network of clinics within PCTU’s hospital system provide students with the opportunity to refine essential skills for a Dentist. Here, students are exposed to real-world environments, handle clinical cases, and learn to interact professionally with patients.
The Dental Prosthetics Practice Room is fully equipped with modern tools and materials, covering everything from initial preparation to shaping and completing prosthetic products. Students practice on simulation models and later apply their skills to real-world cases, ensuring confidence and professionalism when providing dental prosthetic services.
The dental practice rooms at PCTU not only serve as training grounds for skills but also act as a vital stepping stone, helping students confidently transition into real-world work environments, ready to become talented and compassionate Dentists.
