On August 20, 2026, the atmosphere at the Preclinical Skills Simulation Hospital of Phan Chau Trinh University (PCTU) became livelier than usual as nearly 300 K.26 freshmen and their families arrived to complete enrollment procedures. From their very first steps onto campus, a new journey officially began – a journey of learning, training, and personal growth in a health sciences education environment.

From early in the morning, the freshman welcome area was filled with young faces and the excitement of parents. For some students, it was their first time setting foot on the PCTU campus, while some families had traveled a long way to accompany their children on this special day marking the transition from high school student to university student.
Previously, PCTU may have been a name students learned about through the website, admissions counseling sessions, or images on social media. But from enrollment day onward, it became a much more familiar place: the university where K.26 students will study and spend the coming years.

An overview of the K.26 freshman welcome area
The enrollment areas were arranged according to each procedure to help freshmen and their parents complete the necessary steps conveniently. From submitting and verifying documents, completing tuition payments, taking measurements for uniforms, to checking in and receiving gifts…, each stop captured some of K.26’s very first moments at PCTU.
More than simply a day for completing paperwork, enrollment day also gave students an opportunity to begin familiarizing themselves with their new environment, meet new friends, and directly experience the learning spaces that will accompany them throughout the years ahead.

An essential part of the students’ first day was the presence of their parents. While their children completed enrollment procedures, many parents took the opportunity to learn more about the facilities, learning environment, accommodation, and services available to students. Conversations, words of advice, and family photos taken on campus made enrollment day not only exciting but also full of emotion.
After this first day, what awaits K.26 will extend far beyond lectures in the classroom.
There will be practical sessions at the Preclinical Skills Simulation Hospital, laboratory classes, first experiences with professional skills, and later, opportunities to engage with real clinical environments. Each lesson, each skill, and each experience will gradually bring students closer to the profession they have chosen.
For students in the health sciences, the journey toward becoming a skilled professional does not begin on graduation day. That journey begins from the very first day they step into university.
And August 20 was exactly such a day for K.26.

After completing enrollment procedures, K.26 Vietnamese freshmen will continue with Orientation Week 2026 from August 24 – 29, 2026. This will be an opportunity for students to become familiar with the university environment, academic programs, regulations, student support services, and connect with the friends who will accompany them on the journey ahead.
The University’s welcome team will continue to support freshmen who have not yet been able to complete the procedures in person. Students are encouraged to actively confirm their enrollment and complete the required steps according to the University’s instructions.
Welcome nearly 300 new members of K.26 to Phan Chau Trinh University.
From today, PCTU is no longer simply an option on the university application list. It has officially become K.26’s “new destination” – a place where career aspirations will gradually be transformed into the knowledge, skills, and professional competence of future healthcare professionals.
