Another Pin on the Medical Map. This Time, from Poland.

On the morning of August 5, five fourth-year medical students from the University of Zielona Góra (Poland) had their first meeting with the faculty members and physicians of Phan Chau Trinh University before beginning a two-week clinical internship in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Phan Chau Trinh Medical University – Hospital.

The University of Zielona Góra is a public university in Poland offering a wide range of academic disciplines, including Medicine and Health Sciences. The university emphasizes research-integrated education, clinical practice, and international collaboration, enabling students to experience different educational models and healthcare systems around the world from an early stage of their studies.
The clinical internship at PCTU forms part of this international learning approach.

The Phan Chau Trinh Medical University – Hospital is one of PCTU's nine teaching hospitals and is located within the university campus. Every day, the hospital welcomes a large number of domestic and international patients, providing students with a diverse clinical learning environment. In addition, the hospital has been accredited by AACI, with its quality management system and patient care processes developed in accordance with international standards. This offers international students valuable exposure to a well-structured healthcare system while enhancing their clinical learning experience throughout the internship.

We wish the five students from the University of Zielona Góra a productive and rewarding two-week internship at PCTU, filled with meaningful clinical experiences, new friendships, and lasting memories during their time studying in Vietnam.
