In 2025, Phan Chau Trinh University (PCTU) awarded more than 50 scholarships to students during the opening ceremony of the new academic year. This annual policy aims to encourage academic excellence, support students financially, and nurture a high-quality healthcare workforce for the future.
This year, PCTU presented six types of scholarships: Connecting with Love Scholarship, Direct Admission Scholarship, Talent Scholarship, Medical Aspiration Scholarship (for international students), Full-program Scholarships for the Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Hospital Management programs, and Medical Student Residency Scholarships.
Three new students from the HOPE School received full 100% tuition scholarships under the “Connecting with Love” initiative, a joint project between FPT Corporation and PCTU established in 2022. Two students were awarded the Direct Admission Scholarship, covering 30% of tuition fees for their first two semesters.

The university also honored five outstanding students with the Talent Scholarship, offering 30% tuition support for the first semester to recognize their exceptional entrance exam results.
For international students, PCTU granted seven “Medical Aspiration” scholarships, covering 30–50% of tuition fees for the first semester.
Additionally, 21 full-program scholarships worth 30% tuition were awarded to students majoring in General Nursing, Dental Nursing, and Medical Laboratory Technology — encouraging the pursuit of essential healthcare disciplines that help strengthen the medical workforce.

Freshmen Receiving Talent and Direct Admission Scholarships
This year, 15 sixth-year medical students received Residency Scholarships covering 30–40% of their annual tuition fees, helping ease financial burdens during their clinical training phase.
Nguyen Tuan Quynh, a student from class 25YK1 and recipient of the Talent Scholarship, shared:
This scholarship is not only the result of my personal effort but also a great source of encouragement from my family, teachers, and friends. It motivates me to keep learning and improving my knowledge and skills to become a competent and compassionate doctor who can contribute to the noble mission of medicine — helping and saving lives.

These scholarships are not only rewards for academic effort but also a source of motivation, faith, and inspiration for future doctors, nurses, and medical technologists as they pursue their dream of serving community health.
