In February 2026, Phan Chau Trinh University recorded a significant increase in the number of international students coming for clinical internships within the University–Institute system. According to the plan, the University will welcome 16 students from countries with advanced healthcare systems such as the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and the United States.

The program begins with the arrival of 05 Nursing students from IFSI Saint-Brieuc Institute and Croix-Rouge Compétence Vesoul School, France. These students will start their 8-week clinical internship at Phan Chau Trinh University Hospital.
Immediately after the reception session on the morning of (Feb 2), the students joined a practical site survey, familiarized themselves with the operational system, infection control procedures, and patient care culture. This is a mandatory preparation step before students officially participate in professional activities in clinical departments.

In the coming time, the students will practice directly in clinical departments under the guidance of Nursing Clinical Instructors (NCIs), who are experienced nursing lecturers. The program focuses on standardizing patient care competencies, developing professional communication in the hospital environment, and strengthening interprofessional collaboration skills in clinical practice.
The continuous reception of international student groups for study and practice at the Phan Chau Trinh University of Medicine and Health Sciences system demonstrates the University’s growing academic reputation and clinical training capacity on the international stage.
