Continuing the “heat” of February, March welcomes a new wave of international students coming to intern at PCTU.

On the morning of March 2, Phan Chau Trinh University (PCTU) continued to welcome a group of 06 medical students for a five-week clinical internship. The students come from two prestigious universities: Bond University (Australia) and Ruprecht Karls University – Heidelberg (Germany).
 

Notably, Dr. Jessica Stokes-Parish – Associate Dean in charge of Student Affairs & Service Quality Assurance, Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine, Bond University – personally accompanied the students to PCTU and toured the University’s training facilities. The presence of the partner representative reflects strong trust in the academic collaboration as well as close attention to the students’ internship experience.

During the visit, the students expressed their impression of PCTU’s hands-on training system, particularly the pre-clinical simulation hospital model located right on campus. Beyond familiarizing themselves with professional procedures in a realistic environment, students are carefully prepared before entering clinical practice within the hospital system. This seamless integration between simulation-based training and real-world clinical practice creates a distinctive approach in how PCTU develops professional competencies for its learners.
 

Students receive guidance from CIs before starting their internship at PCTU

The fact that students from advanced healthcare systems choose PCTU as their internship destination reflects recognition of the University’s training quality. At the same time, PCTU students are also provided with opportunities to participate in international exchange and internship programs, fostering an increasingly dynamic two-way academic flow.

Following the groups from Germany and Australia, this March PCTU will continue to welcome medical students from the United Kingdom and Japan. The steady arrival of international students demonstrates that PCTU’s internationalization strategy is not merely a vision, but is being realized through concrete and sustainable global partnerships.
