During the period from 02–13/03/2026, students from the Doctor of Dentistry program of Phan Chau Trinh University (PCTU) conducted a Community Dental Practice at Kim Dong Secondary School (Song Vang commune, Da Nang City).

At the small school located in a mountainous commune, mobile dental chairs were brought and set up right in the schoolyard, turning the space into a “dental clinic” for students from grades 6 to 9.
Under the guidance of lecturers, the students directly performed dental check-ups, collected oral health data, and applied Fluoride gel to prevent tooth decay as well as fissure sealants for many students.

For Dentistry students, this activity is a practical lesson in community healthcare. Through this experience, students practice professional skills with real patients while also developing communication and teamwork abilities, and gaining a deeper understanding of social and environmental factors that may affect community oral health.
Community practice is an important part of PCTU’s training program, helping students not only excel in professional knowledge but also understand the community, and gradually develop the spirit of service and responsibility of future doctors and healthcare professionals.
