A student from France has chosen to undertake a postgraduate research internship at the Biomedical Research and Application Center (BRMAC) of Phan Chau Trinh University (PCTU) — marking the first time the Center has hosted an international student for research and training.
Graduated in Neuroscience from Middlesex University London, one of the prestigious universities in the United Kingdom, Mr. Daniel Aroud wished to pursue an interdisciplinary biomedical research environment that integrates genetics, cytology, and histology — where he could explore new research techniques and develop his own project.

After extensive research and recommendations from friends in different countries, Daniel Aroud decided to choose the Biomedical Research and Application Center (BRMAC) at Phan Chau Trinh University. He was particularly impressed by the Center’s well-defined scientific orientation and the dedicated support of its research team. This morning (October 27), Daniel officially arrived at BRMAC to begin his six-month research journey.
During the welcoming session, Dr. Phan Le Minh Tu, representative of the research unit, together with colleagues, met and exchanged with Daniel to provide an overview of the Center’s research directions, facilities, and ongoing professional activities.
Daniel is the first international postgraduate intern at our Center. This is an opportunity for us to connect, exchange academic ideas, and share research experiences with learners from around the world. BRMAC is always ready to provide full support and create favorable conditions for students to maximize their potential — together aiming for scientific projects with real-world applications in medicine and public health.
Dr. Phan Le Minh Tu shared
BRMAC can be considered the first research center within a non-public medical university in Vietnam to simultaneously operate a Biological Tissue Bank and a Genetic Laboratory (Gen Lab). The Center is equipped with modern, internationally standardized technologies and gathers a team of scientists and research experts from both Vietnam and abroad. BRMAC focuses on research, application, and training in regenerative medicine, genetics, and precision medicine.
By combining large-scale biobanking capacity with advanced genetic analysis capabilities, the Center opens new possibilities for breakthroughs in healthcare, disease prevention, and public health improvement.

Phan Chau Trinh University warmly welcomes Mr. Daniel Aroud and wishes him a fruitful and inspiring research experience at BRMAC — as well as memorable moments in the beautiful coastal city of Da Nang.
