The First Milestone of 2025 – PCTU Welcomes 11 More International Students

On February 10th, as PCTU students joyfully returned to their studies after the Lunar New Year holiday, the university was delighted to welcome the first 11 international students of 2025. They are beginning their short-term clinical internships at PCTU and will be training at Tâm Trí Đà Nẵng General Hospital—one of nine affiliated teaching hospitals in the PCTU Institute-Hospital system.

Among them:

• 03 third-year nursing students from CROIX-ROUGE FRANCAISE COMPÉTENCE NÎMES, France
• 03 third-year medical students from Heidelberg University, Germany
• 05 third-year medical students from Ohio State University, USA

PCTU – A Global Destination for Medical Education

The growing number of international students choosing PCTU for health sciences education, whether for long-term programs or short-term clinical internships, reinforces the university’s position on the global medical education map. Since 2022, PCTU has continuously welcomed international student cohorts from the UK, France, the USA, Poland, Germany, Japan, Hungary, and more. Notably, in 2024, PCTU admitted 60 medical students from Myanmar and India into its Doctor of Medicine (MBBS) program.
