On the morning of March 3, Phan Chau Trinh University organized the handover of nearly 500 students participating in the National Defense and Security Education course at the National Defense and Security Education Center, Da Nang University of Physical Education and Sports. The course lasts 4 weeks according to the training plan.
PCTU students take attendance, ready to begin training and studying under military discipline
From early morning, students were fully present, preparing their belongings and mindset to enter a concentrated learning and training environment under military regulations. The handover process was conducted seriously, ensuring full information on personnel, health conditions, and necessary requirements for the training period.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, MSc. Truong Thai – Head of Training and Student Affairs of the Center, shared:
The National Defense and Security Education course not only provides fundamental knowledge of national defense and security, but also fosters a sense of civic responsibility, organizational discipline, and professional conduct for students.
The military environment, with its structured study and daily routines, helps students develop independence, adaptability, and team spirit. Initial unfamiliarity is unavoidable, but through serious training, students will mature, forming a principled, proactive, and creative working style in all circumstances.
The receiving unit affirmed that it will closely coordinate with the University in management, teaching organization, and ensuring student safety throughout the course.

The National Defense and Security Education course is therefore not only a mandatory subject but also an opportunity for Phan Chau Trinh University students to develop themselves, strengthen resilience, discipline, and a sense of responsibility toward the community and society.
