After 8 months of undergoing a rigorous accreditation process, Phan Chau Trinh University Medical Hospital has officially achieved a U.S. certification for healthcare quality and patient safety granted by the AACI (American Accreditation Commission International).

This achievement marks the hospital as the first in Da Nang to receive AACI accreditation, while also pioneering the Central Vietnam region in applying the international AACI standards system in quality management and patient care, with the goal of enhancing healthcare service quality to international standards.
According to the published certification, the hospital passed the AACI Accreditation program, with certificate number C465-2026-ACC-VN-IEEA, meeting international standards for quality management, patient safety, and operational effectiveness in medical examination and treatment.
AACI is a prestigious international healthcare accreditation organization that evaluates medical facilities based on many rigorous criteria such as: quality management systems, patient safety, professional competency of medical staff, care and treatment procedures, as well as infrastructure systems and medical equipment. Achieving this certification demonstrates that the hospital has met international standards in delivering safe, effective, and patient-centered healthcare services.
Over the years, Phan Chau Trinh University Medical Hospital has continuously invested in developing its facilities and modern medical equipment, while also building a stringent quality management system for medical examination and treatment. The hospital also places strong emphasis on training and developing its healthcare workforce, aiming toward a professional, safe, and humane healthcare environment.
In addition to its internationally standardized healthcare system, the hospital currently also operates the Premier Clinic international medical center – a high-quality healthcare model featuring a modern, private, and comfortable treatment environment. The clinic is equipped with many advanced medical technologies such as a 1.5 Tesla MRI system, a 256-slice CT scanner, along with artificial intelligence (AI) technology supporting diagnosis and treatment, contributing to improved accuracy and effectiveness in patient care.
Premier Clinic is designed for expatriates living in Vietnam, clients using international insurance, as well as individuals seeking premium healthcare services. Its closed-loop operational model—from consultation, testing, and diagnostic imaging to treatment and post-treatment care—helps optimize the patient experience while ensuring privacy.
With its university hospital model, integrating medical examination and treatment, training, and scientific research, achieving AACI accreditation not only contributes to improving healthcare service quality but also creates a standardized clinical practice environment for health sciences students of Phan Chau Trinh University.
The AACI certification is considered a milestone beginning, affirming the direction of Phan Chau Trinh University Medical Hospital in enhancing healthcare quality and bringing safe, internationally accredited healthcare services to the community.
