STUDY ONLINE MEDICINE WITH HARVARD UNIVERSITY

From the beginning of 2020, Phan Chau Trinh University has connected with Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital as part of a cooperation program with Brigham and women's hospital of Harvard Medical University. This program is also part of the Continuing Training Plan (CME) of 2020 for the doctors, medical staff of Tam Tri Medical Group and medical students of Phan Chau Trinh University. The school and Tam Tri Medical Group have cooperated to open online gateways for 5 bridge points (Phan Chau Trinh University, Tam Tri Da Nang General Hospital, Saigon Tam Tri General Hospital, General Hospital Nha Trang Mind Department, Dong Thap Tam Tri General Hospital) in the regular online seminar program with the world's leading Anesthesia specialists.

On 12/02/2020, the first CME lesson of 2020 took place in the management of fatal complications in spinal anesthesia for cesarean section. The discussion took place very effectively and excitingly with Brigham and women's hospital doctors' sharing of practical experiences with more than 10 questions from the bridgeheads. Medical students of Phan Chau Trinh University are also very active in online seminars.

This is a very meaningful activity for the purpose of academic exchange, knowledge update and sharing of experiences for students, faculty, and doctors of the University, thereby helping to improve the quality of teaching and treat the patient. The school actively approaches and connects with famous medical universities of the United States to update students, faculty and medical staff with new knowledge from countries with advanced medical backgrounds. complying with the training philosophy of PCTU, training a generation of doctors with "the soul of Vietnamese people to the mind of the United States".
