On March 23, at Phan Chau Trinh University (PCTU), the graduation thesis proposal review sessions for medical students of the 2021–2027 cohort officially commenced. In the first session, 2 out of 12 academic committees conducted evaluations, provided feedback, and offered guidance to students, marking the beginning of the entire review phase.

During the review session, students confidently clarified their clinical research objectives, methodologies, and detailed implementation plans for each stage. Notably, to best support 5th-year students currently undertaking hospital internships, the University implemented both in-person and online presentation formats simultaneously. This flexibility allows students to maintain progress in scientific research while continuing to enhance their practical skills at healthcare facilities without interruption.

This is a crucial stage when the committees provide objective evaluations, critiques, and professional orientation, helping students establish appropriate research methodologies. Beyond fulfilling graduation requirements, the thesis process also offers future doctors the opportunity to develop independent scientific thinking, deepen specialized knowledge, and enhance their ability to systematically solve medical problems.
