Tribute to teachers: two missions, one heart

November returns with the gentle chill of autumn, carrying with it heartfelt gratitude for those who choose to stand behind the spotlight so that the light of knowledge may shine ahead. In that spirit, the Ceremony celebrating Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (20–11) at Phan Chau Trinh University became especially meaningful, filled with emotional musical performances, blooming flowers, and sincere well-wishes dedicated to our esteemed lecturers.

At the ceremony, Dr. Nguyễn Hữu Tùng – Chairman of the University Council – expressed profound appreciation to the faculty.

They carry two noble missions: being physicians who care for the community’s health, and being teachers who impart knowledge. They spend their days treating patients, their evenings preparing lectures, and the next morning stand before their students with unwavering dedication – an admirable and deeply respected image at PCTU.

The emotions continued to deepen as Vũ Khánh Duyên (22RHM1), representing all students, shared:

As a Dentistry student, I always remember the lessons and memories shared by my teachers, even the smallest details such as how to hold a mirror correctly, how to listen to patients, or the subtle skills during examination that are sometimes not found in textbooks. These small things helped me understand that our profession requires not only expertise but also meticulousness and compassion for patients. This will forever remain a valuable lesson and guiding principle in my future career. Also during the ceremony, the University Council honored three students who received the Bronze Medal at IMBC 2025. In his remarks, Dr. Tùng emphasized that such achievements are made possible thanks to the silent dedication and commitment of the teachers.

The ceremony concluded in a warm and joyful atmosphere, leaving lasting emotions in the hearts of lecturers, doctors, and students. We extend our deepest gratitude to all teachers who have chosen to walk alongside PCTU on the journey of nurturing knowledge.
