The Hospital – University trade union reviews a year of activities

On the afternoon of January 20, the Trade Union of The Phan Chau Trinh Medical University - Hospital and Pharmacy held the 2025 Trade Union Year-End Review Conference, marking a year of implementing tasks focused on caring for, representing, and protecting the rights and interests of union members and employees, while also setting directions for activities in 2026.



The year 2025 recorded many positive highlights in the Hospital – University’s trade union activities. The Trade Union Executive Committee consistently played a close and supportive bridging role with union members, promptly visiting and encouraging them during difficult times, as well as organizing warm gatherings and exchange activities that fostered a spirit of connection and sharing within the collective. Through these practical and meaningful actions, employees’ trust in the trade union has continued to strengthen.
 

The Hospital – University Trade Union commended 16 outstanding union members in 2025.

Alongside efforts to care for members’ spiritual well-being, cultural, artistic, sports, and physical activities were maintained and further promoted. These activities created healthy spaces for union members to recharge, balance work and life, and thereby enhance work efficiency and a sense of responsibility.
 

In addition, the Hospital – University Trade Union received timely attention and support from higher-level trade unions. Thanks to this close coordination, many union members facing difficulties due to accidents, illness, or the impacts of natural disasters and flooding were promptly supported both materially and emotionally, clearly demonstrating the humanitarian values and social responsibility of the trade union organization.

The achievements of 2025 contributed to strengthening the Institute–University Trade Union and laid an important foundation for employees to feel secure in their work and committed to long-term engagement with the University.

Entering 2026, there is strong confidence that the Hospital – University Trade Union will continue to uphold its role, constantly innovate in its activities, and further build a united, humane working environment—one where every employee is listened to, understood, and accompanied on the Hospital – University’s path toward sustainable development.
