The first handshake of 2026 marks the Dental – Maxillofacial field

On the afternoon of January 6, Phan Chau Trinh University (PCTU) and SmileSoft Systems Co., Ltd. officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), kicking off the first collaboration series of 2026. Accordingly, the University has been granted the right to deploy and fully utilize all functions of the Kitview software to support training in the Dental – Maxillofacial program.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Styve Servant, Kitview Asia Regional Executive Director (joining online), and Ms. Hoan Phuong, Kitview Business Development Manager in Vietnam. Representing PCTU were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dang Quoc Chan – Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, and MSc. Dr. Nguyen Huu Hai – Deputy Head of the Faculty of Dentistry.

Kitview is a clinical imaging data management software in dentistry, enabling systematic storage, classification, and retrieval of clinical cases. Through an image database organized by individual treatment records, students can access clinical cases from diagnosis and treatment planning to the evaluation of treatment outcomes.

Studying and practicing on the system helps students develop image analysis skills, compare pre- and post-treatment progress, and build structured clinical thinking, in line with the training requirements of the Dental – Maxillofacial field in today’s digital transformation era.

It is hoped that this cooperation will provide PCTU Dental – Maxillofacial students with greater access to real clinical data for diagnosis and treatment, thereby enhancing their practical competence and clinical reasoning throughout their studies.
