On November 22, 2025, Phan Chau Trinh University, in collaboration with GE HealthCare, organized a specialized seminar on “Musculoskeletal Imaging”, attracting more than 500 participants both onsite and online. The event aimed to update recent advances in MSK imaging and strengthen academic collaboration between the university, hospitals, and healthcare institutions.

At the seminar, Dr. Chinmay P. Mehta (Pulse Diagnostics Chain & Jankharia Imaging Center, Mumbai, India), with many years of experience in diagnostic imaging, delivered an in-depth session on MRI joint assessment and analysis using the Cloud PACS platform. Through clinical case illustrations and a systematic reading workflow, he helped participants become familiar with modern MRI joint interpretation and reporting, as well as effective methods for joining online consultations via Cloud PACS.
In parallel, Dr. Shayeri Roy Choudhury (Aster Hospital, Dubai) conducted hands-on MSK ultrasound training, focusing on standardizing probe positioning, optimizing scanning planes, identifying abnormalities, and safely performing ultrasound-guided procedures.

Alongside the two international speakers, two radiology lecturers from Phan Chau Trinh University—MSc. Dr. Đoàn Công Phong and Specialist Level I Dr. Nguyễn Thị Nương—presented case-based lectures that enhanced clinical relevance and strengthened the integration between imaging and treatment practice. Through illustrated clinical cases, participants gained broader perspectives on key imaging signs, improved clinically oriented interpretation skills, and enhanced decision-making in real-world diagnostics and treatment planning.
Co-chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Đăng Quốc Chấn – Vice Rector of Academic Affairs, Specialist Level II Dr. Lê Xuân Tuý – CMO of Phan Chau Trinh University Hospital, and Specialist Level II Dr. Nguyễn Ngọc Bá – Former Deputy Director of Da Nang Hospital, Vice President of the Vietnam Neurosurgical Association, the seminar featured discussions on common challenges in daily MSK image interpretation.

Alongside the presentations, participants had the opportunity to directly practice on ultrasound systems introduced by GE HealthCare—from general ultrasound machines to portable devices such as LOGIQ Totus, LOGIQ e, and Versana Active, which are high-end systems dedicated to musculoskeletal ultrasound (MSK). This hands-on session allowed attendees to experience new technological solutions, high-frequency probes, and user-friendly features that support MSK assessment in clinics, at the bedside, and even in remote settings.
