Some notable examples include: Cognitive Remediation Therapy in Clinical Psychology and Professional Coaching Practice in Clinical Psychology (Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine and the Paris School of Practical Psychology – EPP); Depression and Anxiety in Children and Adolescents, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Children and Adolescents, and Mindfulness in Psychological Counseling (Vietnam–France Psychology Institute); Enhancing Psychological Therapy Competence in Clinical Practice (University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University); Basic and Advanced Singing Bowl Therapy (ShanHealing); and the Psychosocial Support Program for COVID-19 Patients and Their Families (Hanoi National University of Education & Vietnam Medical Association).

Additionally, she participated in the Train the ESP Trainer Program at RMIT University Vietnam and served as coordinator for the seminar Ethics in Psychology and New Directions in Research and Application of Psychology at HUTECH University, enriching her international professional foundation.

Leadership and Research Experience

Before assuming the position of Head of the Faculty of Psychology at Phan Chau Trinh University (PCTU), Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Van had been honored multiple times as an excellent lecturer at both university and ministerial levels. She has also held several key academic positions throughout her career, including:

• Deputy Head of the Faculty of Psychology – People’s Security University: specializing in criminal psychology and abnormal behavior research.

• Head of the Psychology Department – Institute of Cooperation and Training Development, HUTECH University: focusing on counseling and therapy, as well as organizational and human resource psychology.

Alongside her teaching career, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Van has participated in numerous ministerial- and institutional-level research projects and published several scholarly articles in reputable journals such as the Journal of Social Sciences and the Vietnam Journal of Psychology.

In addition, she is frequently invited as a guest speaker at academic and media forums, including VnExpress Podcast and Phap Luat (Law) Newspaper, where she actively contributes to spreading psychological knowledge and raising public awareness about mental health.
