This morning (April 12, 2026), the Voluntary Blood Donation Day organized by the PhanMed Student Network – Institute–University of Phan Chau Trinh University of Medicine (PCTU), in collaboration with the Hematology Department of the Northern Quang Nam Mountainous Regional General Hospital, took place with great meaning.

From early in the morning, the activity attracted a large number of lecturers, staff, students, and local residents. Within just one morning, hundreds of blood units were collected, helping create life-saving opportunities for many patients.
Behind every unit of blood collected lies the spirit of sharing and the participants’ sense of responsibility toward the community. The image of volunteers patiently waiting, proactively registering, and donating blood contributed to creating a serious, orderly, and deeply humane atmosphere at Phan Chau Trinh University of Medicine Hospital.
More than just a charitable activity, this was also an opportunity for medical students to directly participate, observe, and gain a deeper understanding of the value of the profession they are pursuing — where every small act can help save a human life.
One drop of blood given – one life remains.
