On the morning of August 11, 2024, Phan Chau Trinh University was honored to welcome Dr. Nicholas Fancourt, a Pediatric specialist and lecturer at the University of Sydney, Australia. This special occasion allowed both parties to exchange insights, share knowledge, and explore potential collaborations in Pediatrics, contributing to sustainable development in healthcare and medical education.
During the meeting, the two sides engaged in profound and lively discussions, opening up numerous opportunities for research collaborations and laying the groundwork for new medical initiatives. Dr. Fancourt’s presence was not only an honor but also a testament to the increasingly strong partnership between Phan Chau Trinh University and prestigious universities worldwide.
Previously, in July 2023, Phan Chau Trinh University also engaged in collaborative research with a research team from the University of Sydney, led by Dr. Phoebe Williams. The two parties jointly conducted research on neonatal sepsis and antibiotic resistance, in cooperation with hospitals within the system, such as Tam Tri Da Nang General Hospital, Tam Tri Nha Trang General Hospital, and Tam Tri Dong Thap General Hospital.
