The objective of this rotation is to help students develop their skills in taking patient histories, conducting clinical examinations, and monitoring treatment progress for specific disease groups according to each specialty.
Additionally, students will be trained to properly complete medical records, improve communication with patients, and handle specific clinical scenarios. Through these experiences, they will gain a better grasp of treatment principles, care procedures, and develop a more professional attitude within a real hospital environment.
Previously, during April and early May 2025, students from class 20YK1 completed clinical placements at the Da Nang Center for Disease Control (CDC) and Quang Nam Psychiatric Hospital. These experiences helped broaden their understanding of preventive medicine, epidemiology, and mental health care.
Overall, the clinical training program not only enhances students’ medical knowledge but also provides them with a comprehensive perspective on the healthcare system—from prevention to treatment, physical care to emotional support—aiming to nurture a generation of physicians who are not only competent but also compassionate, ethically grounded, and adaptable to diverse healthcare environments and challenges.
