Phan Chau Trinh University Hospital Appoints New Chief Executive Officer

On the afternoon of May 16, 2025, Phan Chau Trinh University Hospital officially introduced its new Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tam, MSc.

During the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Huu Tung, Chairman of the Board of Phan Chau Trinh University, emphasized that the hospital currently operates with two key missions: providing medical services and serving as a clinical training and education facility for medical students. He expressed his confidence that, with his extensive experience in both medical practice and hospital management, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tam would successfully fulfill his new role as CEO.

"We hope that all doctors and staff will support Dr. Tam in carrying out the responsibilities entrusted by the University Board, so that the hospital, together with Phan Chau Trinh University, will continue to be a high-quality clinical training facility for students, while also focusing on the mission of training competent future physicians," Dr. Nguyen Huu Tung emphasized.

In his inaugural speech, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tam expressed his honor in accepting the position and thanked the University Board for their trust. He also expressed his hope to receive continued support and cooperation from all hospital doctors and staff to successfully accomplish the mission ahead.

At the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Huu Tung officially handed over the hospital's operational proposal, regulations, and procedures to the new CEO, marking an important transition in leadership and development strategy for Phan Chau Trinh University Hospital in the new phase.

Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tam graduated as a Doctor of Medicine in 2010 and obtained his Master of Surgery degree in 2012. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Medical Director of Tam Tri Da Nang General Hospital.
