Announcement of full-time university enrollment in 2020

In 2020, Phan Chau Trinh University (DPC) plans to simultaneously implement 06 enrollment methods including:

1. Method 1: Admission according to the 2020 National High School Exam results

Admission conditions:

+ Participate in the national high school exam in 2020. Registered to use the results of the national high school exam for university admission.

+ Graduated from high school.

+ The selection of subjects applicable to each discipline is listed in the following table:

(*) This industry is expected to enroll in 2020. Official information will be posted on the school's website http://pctu.edu.vn/ when there is a decision from the Ministry of Education and Training

- Principles of admission

- For the fields of Medicine, Dentistry-Facial-Facial, Nursing, Medical testing techniques: Exam results reached the minimum admission score threshold prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training for the health sciences sector.

- For the rest of the industry: Exam results reach the minimum threshold of admission points prescribed by the School,

- When candidates meet the conditions for admission, the Admission score is the Total score of the exams / subjects (on a scale of 10) for each test / subject of each selection subject combination and addition with object priority point, area. Admission is done according to the principle from high to low until the target is met.

2. Method 2: Admission is based on high school learning results

- For the Medical, Dental-Oral-Facial: The school does not consider the transcripts

- For Nursing, Medical testing techniques: Admission is based on the academic criteria at the end of 12th grade to achieve good or higher

- For business administration: Admission is based on the average grade point average of the 12 grade year ≥ 6.0 points or more.

For the English language major: Admission is based on the average grade point average of the 12 grade year ≥ 6.0 points or more and the average point of grade 12 English ≥ 6.0 or higher

3. Method 3: Admission according to the results of the competency assessment (National University of Ho Chi Minh City) for all formal university education disciplines.

Admission conditions

- High school graduate or equivalent;

- Take part in the capacity assessment exam 2020 organized by VNU Ho Chi Minh City and get results from the admission score specified by DPC (expected from 600 points or more - on a scale of 1,200);

Admission time (expected)

- According to Ho Chi Minh City National University, the capacity assessment period is organized into 2 phases: phase 1 on March 29, 2020, held in Ho Chi Minh City, Ben Tre, An Giang, Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa (adding Nha Trang and An Giang compared to 2019); Phase 2 on 5/7/2020 in Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Nha Trang.

- DPC will inform candidates of the time of the school's detailed exams when the official proposal is available.

4. Method 4: Admission of foreign students graduating from international high school programs in Vietnam and overseas high school graduates

- For Medicine, Dentistry-Facial: GPA of the senior year (GPA) ≥ 2.5 (scale 4) or equivalent

- For other industries: GPA of the last year of grade (GPA) ≥ 2.0 (scale of 4) or higher or equivalent.

- Must be at least 27 years old (as of September 1, 2020)

- Candidates participate in the interview.

- Have an English certificate of TOEFL ITP 405-450 points or IELTS 4.5 or higher or equivalent issued by an international competent authority which is still valid. Only candidates living and studying in an English-speaking country are exempt from this certificate.

5. Method 5: Admission of candidates who have graduated from universities and masters and are eligible for university admission according to the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training

- For the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry-Facial-Facial: Only candidates graduating from regular university with good or higher or master's degree in the fields / groups of health sciences

Graduation time is not more than 03 years from the date of degree.

+ Must be no more than 27 years old (as of September 1, 2020)

- For other disciplines: Examination of full-time university graduates or master's degrees in disciplines other than those applied for.

- Candidates participate in the interview.

6. Method 6: Straight admission

Candidates for direct admission are considered according to the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

9. Scholarships

Candidates participating in the DPC admission in all methods have the opportunity to receive scholarships corresponding to 100%, 50%, 25% of the tuition fee value.

10. Dormitory: The dormitory system located right on the campus meets 100% of students, with many combined facilities to help students study more smoothly such as: cafeteria, cafeteria, play area. outdoor and indoor sports such as badminton, volleyball, table tennis ...
