On the morning of April 11, at Phan Chau Trinh University (PCTU), more than 100 high school and university students from Da Nang gathered in the warm atmosphere of the community talk show “Are You Okay?”. More than just a knowledge-sharing session, the program was an emotional journey of self-exploration, helping young people find balance amid the fast pace of modern life.

The event was guided by two experienced experts, offering fresh perspectives on the concept of health in the modern era:
- Dr. Nguyen Thanh Van (Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, Head of Student Affairs Office - PCTU): Through the topic “Holistic Wellness – Building Quality of Life,” she opened up a mindset of comprehensive self-care, where both mind and body should be nurtured in parallel.
- M.A. Phan Thi Thao Nguyen (Lecturer, Faculty of Hospital Administration - PCTU): Through the topic “Health Is More Than the Absence of Disease – Are You Truly Living Well?”, she emphasized that healthy living is a proactive lifestyle choice, not merely a medical condition.
By joining the talk show, young participants were guided through a journey of holistic self-development aligned with the philosophy of modern wellness. Through the experts’ sharing, participants not only gained a deeper understanding of the connection between mental and physical health, but also learned how to build “protective boundaries” for themselves through proper nutrition, quality sleep, and a positive living environment.
▶ From these foundations, the session expanded perspectives on building quality of life (Holistic Wellness), helping participants clearly recognize the value of caring for the mind as an inseparable part of health. In particular, the activities of self and emotion awareness became a genuine “mirror,” allowing each young person to pause and face the unnamed “emotional scars” within, thereby learning how to listen to and understand themselves more deeply.
As the program came to a close, a meaningful message was strongly shared: Being “okay” does not mean having no problems, but rather knowing how to care for oneself and maintain balance between physical, mental, and emotional well-being in order to live healthily and sustainably.
