On October 4, as the Mid-Autumn Festival returned with the excitement of childhood, PCTU students continued their journey of sharing and spreading love. The program “Mid-Autumn Festival for Children 2025 – Seeds of Hope” was held that same afternoon at Làng Hy Vọng (Da Nang City), bringing a warm and meaningful moonlit celebration to the children.

Since early August, more than 60 students had rearranged their study schedules and prepared nearly 200 gifts, including sweets, lanterns, lovely handmade cards, and heartfelt wishes. Each gift was wrapped with the hope of bringing a truly meaningful Mid-Autumn celebration to the children of the Village of Hope – a place nurturing orphans who may lack parental care, yet are always full of strength and resilience. In addition, the students joined hands to prepare a nutritious meal, adding even more joy and warmth to the celebration.

Throughout the program, the Village of Hope was filled with bursts of laughter and waves of excitement. Joyful music performances and interactive mini games kept the atmosphere lively. The highlight came with the vibrant lion dance, when bright red and golden colors blended with the rhythmic beating of drums, illuminating the entire Mid-Autumn space. The children held hands, their sparkling eyes fixed on every move of the lion, their innocent smiles lighting up the night sky of childhood. It was an unforgettable moment not only for the children but also for PCTU students – the “bearers of the moonlight festival” to the village.

The greatest value of the program did not lie in the gifts given, but in the presence, the smiles, and the loving embrace that PCTU students brought to the children. This reflects the beautiful qualities of future healthcare professionals – those who know how to share, to love, and to sow hope in life.
With every Mid-Autumn season that passes, PCTU hopes to have more opportunities to bring these “candles of the full moon” to little hearts, spreading love and ensuring that every child’s childhood is more complete.
