Welcome and greetings to the experts from Griffith University, Australia, visiting and working at Phan Chau Trinh University

The morning of June 28th, 2023, Phan Chau Trinh University had a grand welcome session with the delegation of Griffith University, Australia. Dr. Connie Gan Cai Ru, Associate Professor Dr. Phung Ngoc Hai, and Dr. Tran Hoang Mai were among the guests who came to visit and work with the school

During the meeting, Dr. Gan Cai Ru introduced Griffith University and shared her 15 years of experience on building and developing the “Healthy Hospital” system in Taiwan. Besides that, she also talked about the World Health Organization (WHO)’s activities in order to expand a sustainable and efficient hospital, reduce the healthcare industry’s impact on the environment, and promote the responsibility on the environment and community health..

Dr. Phung Ngoc Hai, with over 40 years of profound experience in the Australian healthcare system, shared insights into the development of the healthcare system and the trend of developing well-rounded doctors that encompasses a wide range of skills. This includes the ability to conduct scientific research and apply evidence-based medicine, as well as the skill to train students.

At the same time, both universities had discussed a variety of activities that will be connected in the future, including exchanging student and faculty programs, expanding training programs, and collaborating with scientific research.
