On October 23, 2019, Karl Storz Company and Siemens Healthineers (Germany) held a seminar to introduce smart operating rooms, integrated operating rooms and applications with the hospital system of Tam Tri Medical Group. and Phan Chau Trinh University.

The operating theater systems are developed to make the operation simpler and smarter, bring higher efficiency, towards the integration with artificial intelligence systems - AI and Big data.

In particular, Karl Storz has integrated teaching aids. This makes it easy for professors, faculty, and medical students to access the surgeries directly from afar or review from the system's archived data warehouse with 4K image quality.

This is an important premise for the plan to build and develop Smart Hospital of Phan Chau Trinh University in the period 2020-2025, both performing the task of medical examination and treatment and serving the medical teaching of School.
