Phan Minh Thanh - The Top Freshman at PCTU 2023 with a Successful U-Turn

With a remarkable score of 27.1/30 (without bonus points), Phan Minh Thành, a new medical student, has excellently secured the top position in the entrance exam for Phan Châu Trinh University through the national high school graduation exam method in the academic year 2023. Notably, Minh Thành achieved this outstanding result through an impressive "u-turn" and continuous effort.

Before becoming the top freshman of PCTU in 2023, Phan Minh Thanh had faced a challenging period of starting anew when he decided to switch to the field of medicine. He shared, "I initially chose the A01 group and planned to pursue a field in technology. However, during the early part of my 12th-grade year, after getting reintroduced to the contents of Biology, I found it captivating and wanted to explore and study it further. Moreover, I received great guidance and inspiration from the faculty, which led me to change my educational path."

Expressing his emotions when receiving the scholarship, Minh Thanh was deeply moved: "When I found out I was the top freshman at PCTU, I was both surprised and proud. This title serves as motivation for me to continue my efforts over the next six years and as a gift for my parents and teachers, the individuals who always believed in and supported my decision to study medicine."

With the excellent achievements he has attained, during the opening ceremony for the 2023-2024 academic year, Phan Minh Thanh was awarded the top freshman scholarship, which covers 100% of the tuition fees for the first semester of the 2023-2024 academic year.

After a period of exchanging information and delving deeper into the admission details, Minh Thanh decided to choose PCTU, as it met his desired criteria.
