Phan Chau Trinh University awards Honorary Provost

This morning (February 15th), Phan Chau Trinh University held a solemn ceremony to confer the honorary title of Honorary Provost to Professor Doctor Nguyen Chan Hung. At this ceremony, the University was honored to welcome many doctors and representatives who are leaders of major hospitals in the region to extend their congratulations, including Da Nang General Hospital, Hospital C Da Nang, Vietnam Cancer Society, Vinh Duc General Hospital, Nam Giang District Health Center, and more.

Professor Doctor Nguyen Chan Hung is known as an expert in cancer treatment and an exemplary mentor in the field of Oncology, inspiring generations of medical students. He has held various important positions such as the Director of Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital, Chairman of the Vietnam Cancer Society, and Editor-in-Chief of the Vietnamese Journal of Oncology.

During the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Huu Tung, Chairman of the Boards Phan Chau Trinh University, shared insights about the establishment, development, and formation of a medical university. Professor Nguyen Chan Hung played a crucial role and left a significant impact on that journey. It is due to his exceptional contributions that Phan Chau Trinh University decided to confer upon him the honorary title of Honorary Principal.

Furthermore, during the ceremony, Professor Nguyen Chan Hung delivered a scientific presentation on the topic "The Depths of Life." He depicted the marvels of life from 3.5 billion years ago until the present, employing medical knowledge to explain it in an understandable manner.
