Military Hospital 175 (Ministry of Defense) is the place where patient 1979 (staff at Tan Son Nhat airport) used to go before being discovered infected with COVID-19. Immediately after detecting this case, the hospital quarantined and took samples to test all those exposed.
On February 8, before the complicated progress of the epidemic (25 new cases were recorded), the city asked to test all staff and staff of the 175 Hospital.
The number of samples that need to be collected is very large when there are about 1,800 staff members, nurses, doctors and staff working at the hospital, so the sampling force has to work overnight.
With the spirit of "speedy, fierce", they leave behind families and children, leave the upcoming Tet holiday, race against time to 'trace COVID' for their colleagues, so that colleagues feel secure to take care of the community's health.
"Translating COVID-19 is no longer a problem for anyone. No matter how hard we stay awake, we just expect all the samples to be negative," said a medical staff.
To this morning, February 9, 175 Military Hospital said there were 1,779 samples with negative results for COVID-19.
