Honoring 15 Outstanding Students for Excellence in Conduct and Development in the 2025–2026 Academic Year

Future healthcare professionals need more than academic excellence—they must also cultivate medical ethics, a strong sense of responsibility, and compassion. These are the core values that Phan Chau Trinh University (PCTU) is committed to fostering throughout its educational journey.

On July 25, Phan Chau Trinh University held a ceremony to present Commemorative Medals and Certificates of Recognition to 15 students who earned the title of "Outstanding PCTU Students in Conduct and Personal Development" for the 2025–2026 academic year.

The title is awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding achievements in both academic performance and personal development; actively participate in academic, extracurricular, and community volunteer activities; and consistently exhibit responsibility, initiative, and enthusiasm in university activities.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Van – Dean of the Faculty of Psychology and Director of the Office of Student Affairs at Phan Chau Trinh University – commended the students for their remarkable efforts throughout the academic year, not only in academic achievement but also in cultivating medical ethics, a strong sense of responsibility, and active engagement in community service.
“Our educational philosophy at Phan Chau Trinh University is to nurture healthcare professionals with strong medical ethics and integrity. We hope that in the years ahead, you will continue to uphold these values, apply your knowledge to serve the community, and contribute to improving people's health,” Dr. Van said.

Representing the honored students, Phan Tran Bao Trang from class 24YK1 expressed her pride in receiving the title of "Outstanding PCTU Student in Conduct and Personal Development" and extended her sincere gratitude to the University Board of Rectors and faculty members for their continuous support in helping students learn and develop comprehensively.

"We will continue studying and training ourselves with discipline, uphold medical ethics, and strive to become responsible, capable healthcare professionals," Bao Trang shared.

Following the recognition ceremony, the students joined a two-day, one-night outdoor retreat at Tuan Le Camping (Hai Van Ward, Da Nang City) together with international students currently undertaking internships at PCTU.

The trip provided an opportunity for participants to strengthen friendships, exchange cultures, and create lasting memories after a year of hard work. Highlights included team-building activities, a BBQ party, cultural performances, camping, sunrise watching in Hoa Bac, enjoying local coffee and Quang noodles, and many other meaningful outdoor experiences. The recognition ceremony not only honored the outstanding achievements of exemplary students but also inspired the spirit of learning, dedication, and responsibility among the entire PCTU student community. It serves as motivation for every student to continue striving for excellence, personal growth, and the goal of becoming highly competent healthcare professionals with outstanding medical ethics and compassion.
