On the evening of November 17, the Closing Ceremony of the 8th PCTU Student Sports Festival 2025 took place at the Multi-purpose Arena of Phan Chau Trinh University. This is a meaningful activity in celebration of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day on November 20.

After six days of exciting competition, more than 200 athletes participated in nine sports held at the Multi-purpose Arena, the outdoor sports area, and the Digital Library.
Throughout the tournament, athletes from various classes competed wholeheartedly with fair play, determination, and youthful energy. Thrilling matches in badminton, tennis, pickleball, pull-up bar, 100m sprint, chess, basketball, and table tennis attracted large numbers of students who came to cheer, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere.
At the Closing Ceremony, Nguyen Thi Giang (21YK1) – representing the athletes – expressed her gratitude to the teachers and the Organizing Committee for creating a healthy playground that helps students strengthen their physical fitness, nurture solidarity, and live fully with their passion for sports.
“For me, victory does not belong only to the champions — it belongs to all of us who gave our best, competed with enthusiasm and honesty. Each person has earned their own unique victory,” Giang shared.

During the ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented awards to individuals and teams with outstanding achievements in the following events:
In his closing remarks, Mr. Le Ngoc Quy – Lecturer of Physical Education, Manager of the Multi-purpose Arena, and Head of the Organizing Committee – acknowledged the honesty, perseverance, and strong team spirit demonstrated by the athletes.

“Achievements are important, but what is even more beautiful is the spirit of pushing beyond personal limits, the perseverance, and the unity you have shown. That spirit will continue to accompany you in your studies and on your journey of growth ahead,” he said.
