Closing the course of Biosafety level II - Course 2

From October 25 - 27, 2019, Phan Chau Trinh University organized a training course "PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICE IN LEVEL I AND II BIO SAFETY TESTING", Session 2.

This is a course organized by Phan Chau Trinh University in collaboration with Pasteur Institute in Nha Trang to supplement and enhance the professional knowledge of biosafety for testers and responsible people in the rooms. department, testing center.

The course took place in 03 days by the lecturers of Nha Trang Pasteur Institute in charge. Attending this course, there are 35 students from Hospitals, General Clinics, Testing Center, Testing Center ... of the provinces of Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Quang Binh, Dong Thap. , Phu Yen, TP. HCM City.

In addition to the theory, students can practice risk assessment exercises in the laboratory, practice using safety equipment in the laboratory such as autoclaves, biological safety cabinets; packaging and transporting contaminants; dealing with patient spillage in laboratory rooms, in ATSH cabinets; medical waste treatment; assess the safety level according to the standards of the laboratory level I, II according to the checklist ... right at the CRAGB research center of the school with full equipment and standard procedures.

Hai Nam students shared: “The content is condensed and explained very concisely thanks to the guidance of many experienced teachers from Nha Trang Pasteur Institute such as Ms. Tam, Teacher Phuc, Ms. Dung, ... The theory bored the students, the teachers cleverly incorporated practical knowledge and many interesting situations. Practitioners debated vigorously and were guided enthusiastically by the instructor. This is really a great opportunity for students like us - who have no conditions to participate in direct training courses at Nha Trang Pasteur Institute. In particular, the facilities of the Research Center at Phan Chau Trinh University surprised me: all the equipment introduced in the theory are present here, helping the students to “ directory ”and acquiring knowledge easier.
