The Doctor of Dentistry (DDS) program is a highly specialized medical field focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and functional restoration of the teeth, jaws, and facial region. This is a rigorous accreditation focused on patient safety, risk management, and treatment quality based on U.S. standards. As the first hospital in Da Nang to achieve this benchmark, PCTU offers students the privilege of studying in an environment operated under international healthcare safety protocols. Students also have greater opportunities to participate in dental treatment services for international patients. Another remarkable highlight at PCTU is the opportunity to access and apply regenerative medicine, a pioneering trend in modern dentistry aimed at conservative treatment and the regeneration of natural tissues. Thanks to the Institute–University ecosystem and the activities of the Center for Biomedical Research & Application (which operates the tissue bank and stem cell storage system), students are introduced early to techniques involving stem cells, growth factors, and biomaterials. These technologies are applied in jawbone reconstruction, gum tissue restoration, and the management of complex defects.
