PCTU Graduates Receive Free Internship for Professional Licensing

After graduation, many Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technology graduates of Phan Chau Trinh University (PCTU) chose to continue their internship at hospitals within the Institute–University system in order to complete the requirements for their professional practice license.

Accordingly, new graduates have registered for internships at Tam Tri Hong Ngu International Hospital, Tam Tri Quang Nam General Hospital, and Phan Chau Trinh University Hospital… These are all modern healthcare facilities with experienced doctors, technicians, and nurses, belonging to the university’s network of nine affiliated teaching hospitals.

PCTU Nursing graduate (Class K21) is undertaking internship at Tam Tri Quang Nam General Hospital to complete requirements for the professional practice license

During the internship, Nursing graduates practice clinical skills by directly participating in patient care and monitoring under the supervision of doctors and head nurses. Medical Laboratory Technology graduates become familiar with, operate, and practice laboratory diagnostic procedures under the guidance of senior technicians and specialist doctors. Through this, graduates have the opportunity to:
- Strengthen their professional skills.
- Gain mastery of hospital-based clinical procedures.
- Accumulate valuable experience to be well-prepared for their future careers in community healthcare.

Medical Laboratory Technology graduate (Class of K21, PCTU) is undertaking internship at the Laboratory Department – Phan Chau Trinh University Hospital to complete requirements for the professional practice license.

PCTU Nursing graduate (Class of K21) is undertaking internship at Tam Tri Hong Ngu International Hospital (Dong Thap) and will work here after obtaining a professional practice license

In addition, after completing the licensing internship, some graduates will continue to work at hospitals within the Institute–University system.

A key highlight: PCTU graduates undertaking licensing internships at affiliated hospitals are fully exempted from tuition fees. This practical policy not only reduces students’ financial burden but also encourages them to remain engaged in the familiar training environment.

By building a unified Institute–University model, PCTU ensures that students gain real-world exposure even while still in school, equipping them with confidence and readiness as they embark on their professional healthcare careers.
