On March 18, he and his wife from New York - the United States returned to Vietnam, transiting at Narita - Japan on ANA flight NH831, seat number 3H (husband), 3K (wife) and entering at Tan Son Nhat International Airport on March 19.
Both were then transferred to quarantine in Can Gio district. On March 20, he had a fever, had no cough, had no difficulty breathing, and was sampled. Currently, the patient continues to be monitored in isolation at the medical center of Can Gio district.
