Vietnam: 7 more people infected with the virus causing COVID-19, Vietnam had 113 cases

On the evening of March 22, the Ministry of Health continued to announce 7 more cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases recorded during the day to 19 cases, the highest number in a day since the beginning of the epidemic season. Thus, up to now, Vietnam has 113 people infected with COVID-19.

Accordingly, patient 107 is female, 25 years old, Vietnamese nationality, graphic designer, daughter and lives with patient 86, with permanent address in Thanh Xuan, Hanoi.

After patient 86 test positive for SARS-CoV-2, Hanoi Center for Disease Control took patient sample 107, test result was positive on March 21.

The Center for Disease Control in Hanoi transferred patients to the Dong Anh Center for Tropical Diseases to quarantine and send samples on March 21 to the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology.

Currently, the patient is being isolated and treated at Dong Anh Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, and his health is stable.

Patient 108 is male, 19 years old, Vietnamese nationality, address in Cau Giay, Hanoi, is a Vietnamese student in the UK returning home on March 18 on flight VN054 (seat number 3K), then concentrated isolation at Hoa Binh hotel, Hoan Kiem (the screening result at the arrival of Hanoi Disease Control Center on March 18 was negative).

On March 20, he showed signs of cough and mild fever and was transferred to Thanh Nhan Hospital for monitoring. On March 21, the Center for Disease Control in Hanoi took a second sample and gave a positive result, and the patient sample was sent to the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology on March 21.

Currently, the patient is being isolated and treated at Dong Anh Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, and his health is stable.

Patient 109 is male, 42 years old, Vietnamese nationality, address in Hoang Mai, Hanoi. He is a lecturer at a British university, returned home on March 15 (transit via Bangkok, Thailand and then from Thailand to Vietnam on flight TG560, seat number 37E), then transferred to isolation practice. Trung at Son Tay Town Military School.

The first test result on entry on March 15 was negative. On March 20, he had a fever, and was transferred by the Hanoi Disease Control Center to the Dong Anh Center for Tropical Diseases, isolated and treated.

On March 21, the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases took samples for the second time to test positive results, and the patient samples were sent to the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology on March 21.

Currently, the patient is being isolated and treated at Dong Anh Center for Tropical Diseases, and his health is stable.

Patient 110 is male, 19 years old, Vietnamese nationality, address in Dong Da, Hanoi. The patient is an international student in the US, returning to Vietnam on March 19 (transit in Japan, then from Japan to Hanoi on flight JL571, seat number 1A). History of contact with positive patient in the US on 8-3.

When he entered Vietnam, he had fever, so he was transferred to Dong Anh Center for Tropical Diseases for isolation and treatment. On March 21, the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases took samples for the second time to test positive results, and the patient samples were sent to the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology on March 21.

Currently, the patient is isolated and treated at Dong Anh Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, and his health is stable.

Patient 111 is female, 25 years old, Vietnamese nationality, address in Hai Hau, Nam Dinh, an international student in France, returned to Vietnam on March 18 on flight VN018, seat number 36D.

On March 19, at Noi Bai airport, she was screened by the Center for Disease Control in Hanoi and gave a positive result, then transferred to the isolation ward at the Military School of Hung Yen province ( at An Thi town, An Thi district, Hung Yen province), samples were sent to the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology on March 21.

Currently, the patient is being isolated and treated at Dong Anh Center for Tropical Diseases, and his health is stable.

Patient 112 is female, 30 years old, Vietnamese nationality, address in Hoan Kiem, Hanoi, is a French student.

In France, she works part-time at a Vietnamese noodle shop, and has had close contact with someone who has recently had fever cough. On March 17, she returned to Vietnam on flight VN018 (seat number 22C), entered Noi Bai airport at 6:22 am on March 18.

After that, she was screened by the Center for Disease Control in Hanoi (positive result on March 22) and concentrated in isolation at the Military School of Hung Yen province (address in An Thi town, An Thi district, Hung Yen province), the specimen was sent to the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology on March 21.

Currently, the patient is being isolated and treated at Dong Anh Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, and his health is stable.

Patient 113 is female, 18 years old, Vietnamese nationality, address in Hoan Kiem, Hanoi, is an international student in the UK, returned home on flight VN054 (seat number 2A) on March 18, after that ly at Hoa Binh Hotel, Hoan Kiem (1st screening test of Hanoi Center for Disease Control on March 18th showed negative results).

On March 20, she showed mild fever, a little chest tightness, was transferred to the Hospital for Tropical Diseases of Dong Anh Center for monitoring. On March 21, the Center for Disease Control in Hanoi took a second sample and gave a positive result, and the patient sample was sent to the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology on March 21.

Currently, the patient is being isolated and treated at the Dong Anh Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, and his health is stable.
