Vietnam: 45 additional cases of Covid-19 in Da Nang hospitals

On the morning of July 31st, the Ministry of Health announced at the same time 45 cases of Covid-19 were being isolated in Da Nang medical facilities, of which, there were 33 cases at the outbreak of Da Nang Hospital.

Through investigation and surveillance of epidemiology, Da Nang Center for Disease Control took samples and tested isolated cases at medical facilities, the test results on July 30 had 45 samples positive for SARS virus. -CoV-2.

Accordingly, 45 newly discovered patients with Covid-19 are aged from 27-87 years old, of which: 33 cases at Da Nang Hospital, 4 cases at Da Nang Lung Hospital, 2 cases at Da Nang Oncology Hospital, 4 cases at the Hotel collected artificial kidney patients from Da Nang Hospital - Son Tra district, 2 cases at Cam Le Medical Center, Da Nang.

Since the Covid-19 case in the first community in Da Nang announced on July 25, this locality has so far recorded 80 cases, most concentrated in Da Nang Hospital.

Thus, from July 25 to now, from the first case in the community discovered in Da Nang after 99 days, Vietnam has had no domestic cases (patient 416), in just 7 days, the number of new cases in the plus copper increased to 93 cases.

Of which, in Da Nang alone, up to 80 cases, most concentrated in Da Nang Hospital. The number of hospitals recording Covid-19 here has also reached 6. The remaining cases infected in 5 other localities in Quang Ngai, Quang Nam, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi are related to epidemiology to Da Nang.

Thus, as of 6 am on July 31, Vietnam, there were a total of 509 Covid-19 cases, of which 276 imported cases were immediately isolated.

Up to now, the total number of people in close contact and entering from the epidemic area is under medical monitoring (quarantine): 53,767, of which:

- Concentrated isolation at the hospital: 619

- Concentrated isolation at another establishment: 14,625

- Isolation at home, accommodation: 38,523

Regarding the treatment situation, according to the report of the Treatment Sub-Committee of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control, Vietnam cured 369/509 cases of Covid-19. Among the remaining patients, there were 18 cases 1-2 negative for SARS-CoV-2.
