RECOMMENDATION ON PREVENTION OF INFLUENZA CORONAVIRRUS'S INFRASTRUCTURE BY CORONAVIRRUS (2019-nCoV) (According to the latest recommendation of the Ministry of Health)
A. GENERAL DISCLAIMER:
1. Limit direct contact with people with acute respiratory disease (fever, cough, difficulty breathing); when necessary, wear a proper medical mask and keep contact distance.
2. People with fever, cough, or shortness of breath should not travel or go to places where people gather. Immediately notify health authorities when having the above symptoms.
3. Personal hygiene, frequent hand washing under running water with soap or disinfectant solution for at least 20 seconds; gargle with mouthwash, avoid putting hands to eyes, nose, mouth to prevent infection.
3. Need to cover mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing (preferably with a tissue) to reduce the spread of respiratory secretions. Do not spit indiscriminately in public.
4. To ensure food safety, use only cooked foods.
5. Do not travel to epidemic areas. Limit travel to places where people gather. In case of traveling to places where people are crowded, take personal protective measures such as using a mask, washing hands with soap ...
6. Avoid trade, contact with domestic or wild animals.
7. Keep body warm, improve health by eating, resting, reasonable activities, sports practice.
8. Increase ventilation of the home, work and study areas by opening doors and windows, limiting the use of air-conditioning. Clean floors, doorknobs, and surfaces of household objects regularly with common detergents, such as soap and other common disinfectants.
9. If there are signs of fever, cough, difficulty breathing, must wear a protective mask, immediately notify the nearest medical facility for prompt consultation, examination and treatment. Call the health facility prior to arrival for symptoms and schedules that have moved in recent times for proper support.
B. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CHINESE TEACHERS, STUDENTS, TOURISM STAFF RETURNING OR CONTACT WITH THE 2019-nCoV ISSUED VIOLENCE:
1. Those returning from China to Vietnam need to self-segregate at home and undergo health monitoring within 14 days. Need to report to the nearest local health authority (Phan Chau Trinh University Clinic) for assistance when needed.
2. If there are signs of fever, cough, or shortness of breath, wear a protective mask and immediately notify the nearest medical facility for prompt consultation, examination and treatment.
