Opening the training course for Biosafety Level II certificate at Phan Chau Trinh University

On the morning of December 28, 2018, the Faculty of Medicine, Phan Chau Trinh University cooperated with the Pasteur Institute Nha Trang to organize the opening of the training course "PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICE IN LEVEL I AND LEVEL BIO SAFETY LABORAS" to supplement and improve professional knowledge about biosafety at Phan Chau Trinh Medical University. Trainees are lecturers, laboratory staff working at universities, hospitals, testing centers in Quang Nam, Da Nang and the Central Highlands provinces.

Biosafety is a compulsory condition for people who are in charge of examining units according to the Decree 103/2016 / ND-CP dated 01/07/2016 of the Prime Minister on "Regulations on biosafety. at the laboratory ”.

This training course had 50 participants. At the end of the course, the trainees were awarded the certificate of biosafety level II by Nha Trang Pasteur Institute according to regulations.

In the medical training strategy orientation of Phan Chau Trinh Medical University is research with clinical applications. Therefore, the University has established the Center of Research and Application of Gene in Bio-medicine (CRAGB) and its affiliated laboratories. The center is fully equipped to be able to perform all tests using the new generation of clinical testing methods. Therefore, the school's CRAGB Center is qualified and capable to organize training and continuing training courses related to biosafety, microbiology testing techniques ... as well as receiving projects.
