Dermatology workshop

From January 7, 2019 to January 18, 2019, Phan Chau Trinh Medical University (PCTU) is honored to welcome the leading Dermatologist in San Francisco - Dr. Peter J. Panagotacos taught for PCTU students and provided free dermatology examination for patients at Mind General Hospital, PCTU's practice hospital. This is an opportunity for patients with dermatological problems of Tam Tri General Hospital to be completely treated, as well as an opportunity for doctors at the hospital to have academic exchanges with experts. For more than 40 years, Dr. Peter J. Panagotacos has specialized in both surgical and medical treatments in hair loss at his Dermatology Clinic in San Francisco. He is highly regarded in the medical community for his ability to treat hair loss, especially using robots to transplant hair. He believes that nearly everyone, male to female, young or old, can do something about their hair loss. He has also been a Clinical Lecturer in Dermatology at the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF) for over 35 years.

During the discussion, the doctors were very excited to exchange their expertise and give many good questions to Dr. Panagotacos. Indeed, the skin is the largest organ in the body. In medicine, skin manifestations reflect many things about internal bodily diseases. Sometimes just looking at the patient's skin can accurately diagnose certain diseases. Through this seminar, the doctors as well as the students of PCTU have learned a lot of up-to-date and useful knowledge.
