On March 15, the patient from Barcelona transited in Dubai on Emirates flight EK188, seat number 30C and arrived at Tan Son Nhat airport on March 16 on Emirates flight. brand EK392, seat number 36A.
Upon entry, the patient has low-grade fever, cough, transferred to the isolator of Ho Chi Minh City and took samples. The sample was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 by the Pasteur Institute of Ho Chi Minh City.
Patient 91 is male, British national, 43 years old, residing in District 2, Ho Chi Minh City. Career is a pilot of Vietnam Airlines. On March 8, the patient was a passenger from London (UK) to Vietnam on Vietnam Airlines flight number VN10, seat number 5K. After that, the patient did not remember clearly the travel schedule and international and domestic flights.
On March 16, the patient was a pilot on flight VN272 from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi and VN607 in the afternoon from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City on the same day.
From March 13 to 18, patients stayed in Ho Chi Minh City and went to some places to eat and play. On March 17, the patient had a fever, cough and on the afternoon of March 18, he went to the Hospital for Tropical Diseases of Ho Chi Minh City to examine and hospital with X-ray status with damage to the right lung parenchyma.
Hospital for Tropical Diseases HCMC tested positive late at night on March 18. The sample at Pasteur Institute HCMC was positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus on March 20. Currently, the patient continues to be treated in isolation at the hospital.
Access to two apartments in District 7 and District 2 is restricted
After there was information about the 89th and 91st cases of COVID-19, the two apartment buildings M-One Saigon South (Tan Kieng, District 7) and The Ascent (Thao Dien, District 2) were blocked and restricted. come in and out because residents are sick.
