After being appraised and licensed by the Department of Health of Quang Nam, the polyclinic of Phan Chau Trinh Medical University officially came into operation. The clinic is the clinical practice place to provide medical examination for medical students of the school, besides meeting the needs of patients. With the addition of a medical examination and treatment facility, Phan Chau Trinh Medical University became the first school in the country to have 05 separate practice establishments to realize the goal of ensuring practice duration of Medical students trained at the school up to 70% of the program volume during the 6 years of study.

The General Clinic of Phan Chau Trinh Medical University includes clinical specialties in internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, ear - nose - throat, teeth - jaw - face, eye and subclinical departments. : imaging, ultrasound, tests. In particular, the equipment and machines are fully equipped such as X-ray machines, ultrasound, gastrointestinal endoscopes, RHM, TMH, colposcopy ... Especially, the tests implemented at the clinic are is performed by high-tech methods at the Laboratory of CRAGB Research Center right in the PCT Medical University.

The team of nurses and doctors directly involved in medical examination and treatment are professors, doctors and specialist doctors who are also lecturers of Phan Chau Trinh Medical University.

In addition, the clinic also focuses on the application of information technology in medical examination and treatment management towards paperless clinics, optimizing the medical examination and treatment process and administrative procedures. All steps from receiving patient information, preparing medical records, returning test results, prescribing drugs, making payment ... are done on the CIS management software - clinical information system provided by FPT. Each individual's electronic medical record will be created and monitored for life. As a result, doctors can continuously care for patients, reducing risks and costs for patients.

With the existing facilities, infrastructure and staff, the School Clinic can fully implement the techniques of general examination, specialist examination, 24-hour emergency and hospital bed keeping.
