Formation History

The PCTU Basketball Club was founded in 2023 with its first 8 members – young people sharing a burning passion for the orange ball and the desire to create a healthy sports playground for students of Phan Chau Trinh University. Under the leadership of Captain Le Thanh Duoc, the club quickly established structured operations, maintained regular training sessions, and organized many exciting internal friendly matches. In just over two years, the club has grown remarkably, developing in both numbers and quality. From its original 8 members, the club now brings together 23 dynamic individuals, including both Vietnamese and international students – creating a diverse, open-minded team rich in cross-cultural exchange.

HIGHLIGHT ACTIVITIES & ACHIEVEMENTS

Regularly organizing and participating in friendly matches, both internally within the club and in school-wide sports events.

Building connections and playing friendly games with the Basketball Club of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Da Nang, and other universities in the region.

Successfully hosting open training sessions with international students at PCTU, creating a multicultural and highly engaging training environment.
