A fresh breeze of artistic spirit is gradually taking shape at Phan Chau Trinh University. Born from a deep passion for music and a desire to build a vibrant artistic community, this will surely become a gathering place for music lovers, spreading artistic values and connecting students across the campus.
“Dopa & Dopin” is not just a unique name evoking neurotransmitters linked to joy and emotion — it is also a symbol of the positive energy the club aspires to bring.
In 2023, Nguyen Truong Anh Thu – General Medicine cohort 21 – officially submitted a proposal to establish the “Dopa & Dopin” Music Club.
Sharing about this idea, Nguyen Tan Phuong (GM21) said:
“We wanted to create a truly vibrant environment where all kinds of music – from acoustic and classical to modern – have a stage. Not just to play music, but also to connect, grow personally, and inspire artistic passion within the student community.”
In the proposal submitted to the Student Affairs Office, “Dopa & Dopin” presented its 2023–2024 academic year activity plan with specific goals:
Recruit new members: Targeting students from all cohorts who share a passion for music.
Promote the club’s image: Share activities on social media platforms such as Facebook and YouTube.
Music theory training and sharing: Support members in their learning and music practice.
Performances and networking: Participate in school events and seek performance opportunities in the Quang Nam – Da Nang area.
The club also set a fixed weekly meeting every Monday from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at a location to be arranged by the university.

Commitment to Sustainable Development With a strong sense of responsibility, the club’s representatives are committed to maintaining regular activities, following clear plans, and submitting activity reports each semester. The club values self-governance and close coordination with university departments to ensure effectiveness and sustainability. “We don’t just want to play music – we aim to build a music culture, foster friendships, spread positive energy, and leave the mark of Phan Chau Trinh University students in every melody,” the club emphasized.
The proposal to establish “Dopa & Dopin” has received enthusiastic support from students and faculty, seen as a fresh wave boosting the university’s cultural and artistic movement.
This is a positive sign that PCTU students are not only academically strong but also dynamic, creative, and willing to create new values.
“Dopa & Dopin” – where every melody is a heartbeat of passion.
Let’s look forward to the club’s first steps and be ready to join if you also love music!
