Falls are among the most common adverse events and pose many serious risks for elderly inpatients, affecting the recovery process, quality of life, and increasing the burden of healthcare services.

The research project, “Current Status of Fall Risk and Associated Factors Among Elderly Inpatients in the Institute–University System of Phan Chau Trinh University of Medicine, 2026,” conducted by student Nguyen Thi Thanh Truc (22DD), aims to investigate the level of fall risk and analyze related factors such as age, underlying diseases, mobility, medication use, and the environmental conditions of hospital rooms.
This study carries practical significance in supporting healthcare professionals in developing effective preventive measures, thereby contributing to improved patient safety and better quality of care for elderly inpatients.
